Kátia Moraes will lead a fun session for younger audiences/families, focusing on Brazil at the enchanting Rose Pavilion at Descanso gardens.

Brazilian Heart Experience, is a 45 minute session with Kátia Moraes accompanied by a percussionist, that engages younger audiences and families utilizing a mix of dance, song, stories and visual art. The cultural engagement involves audience participation and promotes understanding about Brasil and its rich history. 

The event is scheduled for Thursday, August 8, from 3:00 to 3:45 PM. She’ll create a connection / cultural tapestry about Brazil followed by Teka’s Bossa Nova band performance at 4pm at the Amphitheater.
